Communication
Team communication ideas that reduce noise
A message is useful when someone can tell what changed and who moves next. Volume is not the same thing. If the same decision is restated in email, chat, and a meeting, people will quote different lines later.
Pick one place for the current decision and point back to it. Write the owner and the time in the same sentence as the task. Use a live conversation when the group is blocked now. Use writing when the question can wait and the context can travel with it.
Small mismatches add up: two names for one file, two meanings of "end of day," two copies called final. A short weekly question, "what keeps getting repeated?", catches them while they are still small.
Why communication gets worse when everyone uses everything
